Use cases

Organizer is deliberately general — anything that benefits from "a record over time, with follow-ups" fits well. Here are proven ways people use it. Each maps onto the same handful of features: timelines, entries, due dates, tags, and attachments.

Client & deal follow-ups

One timeline per client or deal. Log every call, email, and meeting; attach quotes and contracts; add a due date to every "next contact". Your Todos page becomes a chase list so no client goes cold.

Tag client timelines client + a status (active / won / lost) to filter the sidebar at a glance.

Project tracking

A timeline per project capturing decisions, progress, and blockers, with due-dated next steps. See the Track a project tutorial.

Personal journal

A private, searchable daily log — words plus photos — stored on your own device. See Keep a daily journal.

Health & symptom log

Record symptoms, appointments, and medication changes with accurate dates (use custom timestamps to backfill). Attach test results and photos. A clear chronology is exactly what's useful to review — or to show a professional.

Property & maintenance records

One timeline per property or vehicle. Log services, repairs, and inspections; attach receipts and warranties; set due dates for the next service. Years later you have a complete, searchable history.

Research & reading notes

A timeline per topic or paper. Capture findings as you go, attach PDFs and screenshots, and search across everything when you're writing up.

Incident & decision log

For a team or a side project: a dated record of incidents and the decisions made in response — what happened, what you decided, and why. Invaluable when someone later asks "why did we do it this way?"

Habit & training log

Daily entries tracking workouts, practice, or any habit. Backfill missed days with custom timestamps; review the timeline to see your streak and progress.
